Why should we M&K players use a controller when all you controller players claim M&K is the superior input method? You know the reason... because you are addicted to the assist!
Why should we have to learn a new input method when we are good with M&K? Shouldn't you just plug in a M&K to your console and use that? Oh... but you won't have AA, so there is the reason.
If controller players can play without it and it does not really help, then turn it off and tell the devs it isn't needed... but you won' t because... you are addicted to the assist!
There was a time in FPS gaming where there was no aim assist. Controller players were destroyed when PCs were involved against them. That was when the console couldn't really compete with a PC, TVs were slow refreshing and the controller polling rate was too slow to keep up. That is all gone now, so there is no hardware excuse. All the FPS games have it now because all you controller players scream for it and complain when you can't compete, because... you are addicted to the assistance!
Easiest solution? Require M&K for all including console. It is the better input method, isn't it?! So, game companies could eliminate a bunch of issues with aim and whatnot if we are all on the same method. You all know how to use a keyboard and mouse. You all had to "git gud" even on your controllers, so stop the addiction and use M&K. Don't give me any crap about drivers and macros or buttons, etc... your consoles can do it.

Easiest solution would be to have the option to disable crossplay for pc. That’s quite the warped veiwpoint you’re proposing.
Console players are generally less inclined to be no lifers that play casually for fun, not as a phoney carreer. (also ease of access to major cheats on pc)
Also to your claim on the “times” name more than 3 AAA FPS games that don’t have aim assist on console that have crossplay… seige, starwars, pubg and….?
Why do you think crossplay has anything to do with input type available?
My warped viewpoint was sarcasm. Either you got it or you didn't, though kinda hard to determine tone in text... I had to rethink how I was going to respond a couple times.
Even if you disable crossplay; PCs can still use controllers. Ah, but PCs can still cheat... AH! But there is an Anti-cheat... AH but it doesn't work that good... AH... but it will eventually... AH... I don't want to wait that long... AH HA! There is the problem... I guess I want instant gratification like most people today. I paid my money and want to enjoy the gaming experience I was "promised" aka "fair with Aim Assist being "greatly reduced."
Console is less inclined to be no lifers... sure keep telling yourself that, I do agree with you about relaxation, hobby, etc though.
Ease of access to cheats? Well, I can get a Chronus as easily as anyone else can from a retailer if they are not already sold out. I can go buy a "modded" controller too.
You obviously do not know the difference in how time is referenced here. "There was a time" meaning in the PAST console games didn't have AA, because it wasn't created yet VS “times” name more than 3 AAA FPS games that don’t have aim assist on console that have crossplay… " is a reference to CURRENT online console gaming. I brought this up because when games DID NOT have AA, there was NO CROSSPLAY, there was no need for it. We PC players had private admin'd servers to play on, not lumped into some lobby with cheaters and consoles with extra benefits like now.
I agree with your points in your later posts but this one, I think you were off.
