Research into aim assist!

I used to play on PC. I have had a bunch of PCs. Custom water cooling, PETG hard tubing, SLI, all the stuff. I went deep. I even had the NVIDIA 3d vision kit and monitor when that was a thing.

Why console? PC doesn't fit into my life any more. I am done delving into PC. I experienced all I wanted to experience. I don't want to invest the time, money, and maintenance into that hobby any more.  I have slimmed down my lifestyle in many ways. Ditching the PC was just one of the changes I have made.

Console is good enough. It's all I need when the itch occurs.

Another benefit is much less instability, driver issues, or crashing. And no more oponents on the same platform using software cheats.

It's a better life.

Why not controller? I'm too old to relearn.

I will try to come to middle ground here...
In actuality, the easiest thing would be to stop making games with AA built in or have it only available for single player/learning the game (for example your first 50 ranks in BF6). I am pretty sure, anyone has a good grasp on the controls by that point even if you play casually, you still have X ranks until you no longer get the benefits. Hell, they can give you full on aimbot or wallhacks if they want but be ready for complaints. After those 50 ranks, the player's "assistance" does not exist. If they want it so bad, they can try a new account, I don't know... but as discussed here, companies won't do anything about it, so PC players will either buy a controller, quit altogether or cheat to compete.
 I honestly think there is merit to the hypothesis there are way more cheaters in online gaming because they think 1) You can make money from it and 2) the only way to get ahead of the imbalance is by cheating.
Notice cheaters getting away with it right now are not putting up 120+ kills a game? They are trying to slip under the radar and do well enough to look good but not so good they draw attention to themselves. That is the worst kind of cheater. I would prefer someone rage hacking and just head shot everyone on the map. Easier to ban though...
EA/DICE creating a robust Anti-cheat is a great step in where gaming should go. I have spent many hours using AI to come up with solutions in the online gaming space for cheating. Companies can take measures but choose not to, they do not believe the effort to secure their game is worth the time and money investment long term. I guess they would all rather sell their copies and have the game die out and just release a "new version" of the same crap and go through the same exact process on repeat. I guess as long as we are dumb enough to keep buying it and taking the BS they're feeding us to get us excited about regurgitated slop, they have no reason to change or adopt a stronger stance against it.
They created their anti-cheat because that was a major complaint against their top competitor. Only time will tell if they are serious enough about it to continue development and innovation on it to work as good as we all hope.

My warped viewpoint was sarcasm. Either you got it or you didn't, though kinda hard to determine tone in text... I had to rethink how I was going to respond a couple times.
Even if you disable crossplay; PCs can still use controllers. Ah, but PCs can still cheat... AH! But there is an Anti-cheat... AH but it doesn't work that good... AH... but it will eventually... AH... I don't want to wait that long... AH HA! There is the problem... I guess I want instant gratification like most people today. I paid my money and want to enjoy the gaming experience I was "promised" aka "fair with Aim Assist being "greatly reduced."
Console is less inclined to be no lifers... sure keep telling yourself that, I do agree with you about relaxation, hobby, etc though.
Ease of access to cheats? Well, I can get a Chronus as easily as  anyone else can from a retailer if they are not already sold out. I can go buy a "modded" controller too.
You obviously do not know the difference in how time is referenced here. "There was a time" meaning in the PAST console games didn't have AA, because it wasn't created yet VS “times” name more than 3 AAA FPS games that don’t have aim assist on console that have crossplay… " is a reference to CURRENT online console gaming. I brought this up because when games DID NOT have AA, there was NO CROSSPLAY, there was no need for it. We PC players had private admin'd servers to play on, not lumped into some lobby with cheaters and consoles with extra benefits like now.
I agree with your points in your later posts but this one, I think you were off.

Th3Toppi3​ What do you consider a “high profile player”??  Are you a fellow BF veteran? Or do you just think very highly of yourself? Have you seen the numbers? Corporate greed doesn’t have to care when they’re rolling in it. 

Also to everyone, unless consoles start being sold with keyboards instead of controllers I don’t ever see the division between pc and console being mended to either’s liking. Enough said.

Also qurious why someone would handicap themselves to play M&K on console other than preference and the inability to afford a good pc. It kinda has everything to do with it from a console players side when it comes to the topic of aim assist.

Ty_Ger07​, Just explaining the history and how we got here. Not sure how old you are but the mixing of platforms is new in the scale of gamings history!

Nothing will change. Like i said, yes you now can use M&K on console but you couldn’t with older consoles. This is important to note because for a long time consoles rained king and dominated most AAA games with casual players, this is why consoles have the ability to have crossplay off (along with the ease that pc players have to cheat). Crossplay is a relatively new feature. Most people playing on console are casual players.

Nowadays many kids or their degenerate parents try to make gaming into an income source, which IMO is part of this problem. People are insanely competetive on whats supposed to be a pass time for enjoyment.

Whether you like it or not aim assist has always been present in FPS on consoles for controller players (aside from seige, starwars, and pubg, lemme know if theres more) and it will always be, no ones individual choice, it is what it is. 

Again, PC vs PC and Console vs Console does nothing in the discussion of M&KB and controller. You can play console with M&KB (I do!) and you can play PC with controller. Please stop talking about crossplay in a discussion of input types.

I stopped reading at the Jumping and shooting accurately is a controller thing!

For a long time consoles held the majority of gaming players during the console “boom” if you will, intended as a passtime or hobby. Unfortunately there will always be a great divide in opinions, the difference being older consoles didn’t have the capability of utilizing M&K (not sure on the pc end if you could us controller lemme know). Many people prefer controllers, especially those who slap a keyboard for a living in their 9-5. Not everyone games 4 money. 

Side note: Viewership content for income isn’t a job its just an income. Jobs fuel the economy and keep money flowing through country.

I was always on PC and now on PS5, but not because of AIM Assist. 

I Play more than 3 Hours per Day and with a 65 inch Television on a comfort Couch it is simply chill.

And the PS5 is silent. 

I don't understand how you came out of the Idea People use Controller on PC because the AIM Assist?

For me is MnK sitting in a Chair No Fun. I will relaxe.
