Restore Requesting Squad Orders

We went through this and fought for restoring the ability to request squad orders and that the request is enforced by the replacement of the squad leader if he does not respond by the time out. What does EA have against it that we have to go through this again? There must be some hangers-on from early 2042 that need to be cleaned out. This is a legacy principle of BF that goes all the way back to 1942. I would like to see it restored and I'm sure others would too.

Fully agree! We need this back in the game. We eventually got it back in BF2042 after a long period of complaining by the community, so I’m baffled to see that they just repeat the same mistake with BF6

How does this have to even be a request?
This has been a core feature for squad game play in the BF franchise for well over a decade.
It’s like having to ask for duck diving while swimming. As in… SERIOUSLY DICE?
