Serious question - Did Dice / EA drop the tick rate?

Almost everyone I know was having the most amazing experience with the game up until last night, and now the game feels absolutely horrendous.

Tons of hit markers, only to instantly lose the gun fight the nano-second the other player looks at you.

Something feels extremely off about the game all of the sudden.
