The skill base matchmaking is complete garbage in this game. I have played 16 consecutive matches and lost every single one of them. It’s not fun to get **bleep** **bleep** after paying $70 for a game me and my friend just started playing last week was having a good time and then all of a sudden it’s unplayable on fun and a waste of $70. Something needs to be done with the matchmaking because obviously somethings not working right

No matter how badly you play, what matters the most is what the rest of the team and the enemy teams are doing.
You can be the only good player in a team of people going 4 kills to 25 deaths. Or you could be the worst player imaginable in a team of high performing players.
Leaving battlefield 6 - time for the big uninstall. 90% of matches are a blowout. Not fun - too bad EA, after EA being sold this was the last game I was going to invest time and $ in. Your inability to manage even closely balanced matches…well I’m out. This was a great game and I really enjoyed the mechanics and general gameplay. Real home run on those fronts, could have enjoyed this for quite sometime but if every match is a blowout, it does matter how much you got every other little thing right - it’s just not fun…and you are not paying me to play so I do not have to force myself to not have fun. There are fun games out there even if battlefield 6 is not one of them.

There is no team balancing.
There seems to be an algorithm in place that has one team steamrolling the other team, because it happens 90%+ of the time.
Hard agree Dethstyle. Your team is either steamrolling or getting steamrolled. I've played over 150 matches at this point, and I can only recall maybe 3 matches where it felt like a close game. The result of most matches seems to be determined in the first 5 minutes.
Games are matched as follows
Matchmaking puts ping/region and getting you into a game fast ahead of strict skill brackets, with skill only a secondary factor (and used more for team balancing than hard filtering)

That does explain why almost every game one side stomps the other. It's not fun, I know that much.
There is no team balancer.
Every game is a one sided blowout. 2042, as bad as it was, actually had great team balancing.
For some reason BF6 doesn't have any, and it's a miserable experience. If you are the winning side, it's boring, and if you're losing, you're getting spawn trapped and it's a terrible experience.
They really need to fix this and add some proper team balancing. I will not play this game in the current state because it's so awful to have lopsided games 99% of the time. It's just not fun.
There is no SBMM in Battlefield, but I do agree that the majority of matches are heavily lopsided. Doesn’t matter what game mode you play, either your team steamrolls the other or you get your cheeks clapped. There is no in-between.
there is no SBMM in the game there is a team-balancer but nothing dividing players based on "skill" because god knows this franchise will die if that ever happens
