So many cheaters.
There has to be away to have a decent game without being cheated. Its at the point where it's more fun to play with just bots.

With all the methods of spotting players it is impossible to know if you have been spotted or wallhack. In past games you would get notice of being spotted why not now?
I find it difficult to believe a player jumping a wall that can instant headshot me is a true reflection of a normal player but it happens all the time.
Low level players getting 40/50 kills turning a corner and instant kill shots.
Your report of about 4% of rounds contains a cheat is well below my experience it is nearer 80% (in Europe). The expectation was that EA were going to do something positive but alas here we are. No I do not play Redsec
And yes I do report but sometimes I get locked out of the game while doing so.
That same thing has been happening to me. Or if I report certain people I freeze up or crash. The cheating is pretty obvious. People are just holding spots normally you'd get pinged, some players move like they have no gun weight.
If people aren't cheating then they have some sorta mechanic I don't have. And if this game has a balancing director...it sucks.
I would take a look at weapon accuracy statistics as well. A decent player should be somewhere in the 20-30% accuracy range on most weapons, the exceptions being shotguns and sniper rifles. A 70% accuracy and maybe a 25% headshot rate is not super but still good. EA has the ability to see this, you can see it on the tracker.gg site. Spend time looking at how "good" players are, you have to look at as much as you can. Do what the community manager says and just report EVERY death. Make them look at everyone and make a decision. If they want to get rid of cheaters, they will.
EA_Garrus The fix is pretty simple i would think... add kill cams. That way we can watch how we were killed. I don't think there are tons of cheaters, but there are definitely some and I feel like there are more reports that can be gone through because there is no kill cams. If you see you got beamed by a guy jumping off a ledge and sniping you from 300m out, then that doesnt seem legitimate. However, if you can see that theres a reasonable way you got killed, it'll most likely cut down on all the reports EA receives on a daily basis so you can actually go after the real cheats.
reading some of these posts, I get a lot of what we're all saying. But... I'm a MnK player, and I'm decent at best. not great, but decent. I think controller players have an advantage in some ways, but I tried to switch and I'm even more useless with a controller. I get destroyed some matches and top the leader board on some, (it's rare, but happens.) Today went 9K/12D in Rush and 18/0 in the next match. We had amazing medics! I was accused of cheating yesterday in a Casual Breakthrough lobby because I had 45 kills and 0 deaths. Here's what they didnt understand. I was playing as an engineer so I could destroy the enemy tanks easier (tanks lasted about 30 seconds since we had 3 engineers on our squad,) and I was using an SMG (low recoil) and a the 1.5x Thermal which is honestly like legal cheating. I was next to a medic on my squad and we revived each other about 10 times each. So just saying someone has a K/D thats +2-4 doesnt mean theyre cheating. However, I think if EA added a kill cam for us, we would realize that there really aren't that many cheaters. I've reported my fair share. Some that probably were cheating and some that probably weren't. a kill can though absolutely would put a lot of this to rest.
I would just like to point out that EA_Garrus responded 18 days ago...yet has not responded since. So, what does this tell us?
There could be a multitude of reasons Garrus hasn't responded. I won't delve in to all of the possibilities but to say that I believe Garrus doesn't want to respond to us. It seems just a little "convenient" that the original poster was told to use the in-game reporting function but that there have been no more comments from anyone at EA.
I disagree with Garrus, reporting IS pointless. EA knows that there are an extraordinary amount of cheaters so why should we report anyone? It doesn't do any good. I honestly think the report button is there just to make us as players feel like we're doing something.
I for one am sick and tired of EA's lies and/or blatant disregard for us legitimate players. This very well might be the least favorite BF game I've ever played and I've played just about all of them. I've played 42, BC and BC2, Vietnam, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and now 6. EA/Dice should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for the junk that 6 is. Not only do they have the hitcode issue that has been present in literally every BF ever, now they added for controller players an op aimbot, low/no bloom, and low/no recoil. I honestly feel cheated that I paid what I paid for this travesty...actually, I feel like I've been robbed because I truly believe that EA/Dice KNEW exactly what they were doing when they put this junk out there for sale.
So Garrus, spare us your disingenuous compassion. "Sorry to hear about the recent bad experience you are having." Sorry, but I don't think I believe you are really "sorry". I think your bosses told you to say something/anything to appease us.
Until you guys get off of your tails and actually do something about the cheaters and the unfairness provided to controllers, I can't believe that you or anyone else at EA/Dice is genuinely concerned about how we feel.
BTW, if you don't like what I'm saying and decide to ban me, I only play about 30-45 minutes every other day. It wouldn't hurt me to get that time back to do something else that is more enjoyable. I'm sitting at about 105 hours of playing this junk since buying it on the very first day it came out. I've somewhat gotten my monies worth (it was somewhat fun the first 30 or so hours but has dropped off tremendously since then).
So, again, Garrus....spare us.
I go into scoreboard to look at player stats when I suspect a cheater but then can't get back to game and have to restart.
I did read that, but my point is that even without a team of buddies you still get revived and it impacts your K/D ratio. Very very few of my total hours are spent in a group/party, most are solo, and I still manage to have 2+ K/D for every class. It's not that difficult to do. Obviously vehicles impact it as well [which you mentioned]
Cool story, Anobix but obviosly you didn't read: "or team of buddies playing together on VoIP"
I agree. For one non cheating player to have a 1.5 kd, then a non cheating player needs a .5 (excluding revives which really doesn’t move the needle unfortunately). That means the avg player should be at 1. Snipers will always have a better kd ratio as they are literally professional long distance campers. Vehicles shouldn’t have a suoerhuman kd because that means they are spawn camping (enemy or hiding behind your own). Otherwise they are all cheating. Cheating is absolutely rampant in this game. And DICE does nothing and then a player who is 70-1 in a helicopter says “it’s a skill issue” No, it’s a cheater issue. You are human not a god. When Barry bonds was hitting 80 homers in a year it was obvious in hindsight he was cheating. People are for the most part the same and should get better with time of play. There should not be lvl 30s getting 50 kills a game. not possible. Do something DICE. This game is getting real old real quick.
