Solo V Bots

I tried your conquest code last night, great work setting that up. Unfortunately, only about 10 bots per team actually do anything, the rest just stood still at the spawn. Is that happening for anyone else?

What I am referring to is the change to requiring 20 players to start a verified experience when it used to be one. Previously I could start a 64 player server with bots that worked and have a great time learning to fly the planes and helicopters. Now none of the servers I've tried with custom bots really work properly and there is no real reason to justify why they removed this feature. I don't care about XP or progression, I just want to play PvE for fun.

This was available in 2042 and was available in BF6 on launch. WTF would they remove it?

A lot of people complaining about this are the older "Battledads". I rarely get time to play games at all anymore, let alone spending time making a custom experience in Portal to mimic the one that was available on launch day.

For casual breakthrough, just block the mode to people with kdr's over 3. I think that's what the casual crowd want, take the cream of the competition off the top and they will have more fun. It's called casual after all. It seems weird to me to even have a casual mode without some kind of rule that makes it casual. Or limit high kdr players to pistol only, hehe, yeah, do that.

Not true. You can still PvE in Portal. I provided experience codes for you to try for yourself.

Great game, I would give it 9/10 at launch.

Then they removed the Portal PvE ability for no apparent reason two weeks after launch and I haven't touched it since. DICE/EA advertised "Play Your Way" and then ruined this through either incompetence or deliberate deception. I hope it is the former.

Its brutal brother,  it reminds me of the old quake and unreal days hahah.  I'm an old man who can still actually hang,  but I can't imagine being a new player and trying to get into the game.  You have to be sadistic.    in the old cs days at least we had community ranked leagues,  and servers you could find with good admins at your own level,   old bf2 also had the same.   they had mods to balance teams.  vote shuffles,  etc.     usually were hosted in your own towns so many were playing.   but those days is long gone and we back to the barbarian quake ages.   even the mmr's in other games are undermined because of the anonymity.  its a real shame brother.  going on 20 years and I don't think there gonna be much money left in it.  

I have a bunch of bot experiences. You can solo against only bots if you lock them with a password. Otherwise, like all other experiences, the number of bots decrease with an increase of players joining.

Just tried out “Casual Breakthrough” on 6 and it’s an absolute joke. I’m genuinely very good on 2042. Typically most kills on my squad but I’m getting gunned down within seconds of spawning every single time. I’ve played 2 rounds with ZERO kills and about 500 deaths. These are not bots and if they are, what in the world EA? This is way, way, way too difficult to be called casual. At this point, apart from the campaign that I’m sure isn’t very long, this game seems to be a massive waste of my money. 2042 is much better for those who haven’t spent years training in the arts of simulated combat. Deeply regret spending money on 6. 

I bought Battlefield 6 when it came out and, as I want to play Solo with Bots, after months of watching for updates, I have given up and purchased Battlefield 2042 to play instead - the options in the portal and game play makes Battelfield 2042 excellent!!!!! Only thing I have noticed in Battlefield 6 which is not in 2042 is the ability to zoom the view in the Tank's main gun -- something that is probably not realistic anyway. 

My preferred experience is Rush mode with 20 a side (39 Bots and me), light vehicles only, no RPGs with a 20 min play limit - all very easy to setup in Portal. It's great!
