Some advices to the game
- The M320 grenade launcher’s damage curve should be linear rather than step-shaped. Currently, this step-based damage model is not only counterintuitive but also undermines the weapon’s combat effectiveness.
- Weapons chambered in 5.45×39mm deserve damage values on par with those using 5.56×45mm or 5.8mm rounds—this was the case in BF3 and BF4, after all. Alternatively, developers should move away from a one-size-fits-all template for every firearm and implement targeted tweaks for different weapon systems. It’s frustrating to see the Season 3 weapon RPK-74 saddled with both low damage and low RPM, especially when there are numerous other weapons boasting stats like 800 RPM/33 damage or 1080RPM/25 damage. This begs the question: what’s the point of even including 5.45×39mm weapons if they’re this underpowered? This imbalance could potentially ruin the viability of all Russian arsenal additions moving forward.
- why is the QBZ-192 the only weapon lacking a full complement of accessories? Is it simply because it’s the sole firearm firing 5.8×42mm rounds?
- 7.62×39mm round’s damage curve needs a rework—perhaps extending the range at which it deals 25 damage to 35 meters. As it stands, 7.62×39mm weapons like the RKM and NOV 228 already have lower RPMs than most 5.56×45mm firearms, leaving them with zero competitive advantages outside their 8-meter, 33-damage sweet spot.
