Somethings not right with bf6 on PS5

I can't quite put my finger on what's made the gameplay experience worse since this update but it's a massive step backwards from the previous game state.

  • They took away aim assist for console players, u believe tht bs? Wifi totally broke the game for ps5. Have to restart game after every match or you can't play, it just sends you to the challenge page. Audio is herendous as well. Just sounds like bunch mice running around every wherw

  • Also for 2 months now paid for battlefieldpro items remain. Locked n unusable

No, they haven't removed auto-aim, they have adjusted it.

I guess because we were seeing console players rocking 70+ kills in rounds, way above other players. And you can see good console players just abusing it for easy kills. I don't mind the idea, and love playing with console friends, but when it's strong it's a cheat. They are killing people they can't see because computers don't see, they just use curves to target player coordinates.

  • The game is completely broken now. The input lag and latency was horrible before but now is off the charts, balanced mode is unplayable and performance mode also feels super weird. Aim assist is also broken although they claim that it is the aim assist they used in the beta. It is not. It is broken. Now the funny thing is, they wanted to make the aim assist "more constant when engaging targets at long distances". And OF COURSE the EXACT opposite is the case. The aim assist sometimes works. Sometimes doesn't. I reduced it to 50/40. Just like in the beta and it feels totally different. Again, broken. Like everything. Even the main menus are now broken. Is there ANYTHING that actually works besides, surprise, the shop?!

Server performance is also an inexcusable joke. I die within a split second, enemies all seem to be MLG pro gamers now. They tank entire magazines, turn around and INSTANTLY kill me with what seems to be one bullet. It's an absolute madhouse. Mind you that I play Battlefield since 2005 and I play objective focused and never had a K/D under 3 in any Battlefield. Battlefield 6 is too fast and the servers are too slow. A very unhealthy combination but of course tailored exclusively to the CoD cultists.

Now another funny thing appeared. I had my entire settings reset mid match. 3 times. In a row.

This product is inexcusable on PlayStation and SONY needs to step in at this point, making a refund eligible for all buyers. It is a fundamentally broken product that gets worse with every single patch, as I expected even before the game got launched. Like I said weeks ago, the beta was too good to be true. The player feedback saved the game. Since the feedback ended we see the results. Since DICE doesn't exist anymore there are only amateurs working. They have no clue what they're doing or how a Battlefield looks and feels.

EA should sell the Battlefield IP. This game is a disgrace to the legacy of Battlefield and a middle finger to all remaining fans.

You didn't add anything here besides of "I don't understand how aim assist works but I guess it's auto aim, uuuuuuh..."

Nope. First aim assist is a joke compared to the precision and speed you get by using mouse and keyboard (skill issue if you can't), second, the topic is entirely different then what you answered.

GermanDevilDog - I'm going to respectfully disagree with you about the "precision and speed you get by using mouse and keyboard" comment you just made.

As a MNK player, I have to fight extra recoil, extra bloom, and enemy player movement that a controller player doesn't fight.  I've also heard there is a network penalty added to PC that is not there for consoles.

Additionally, aim assist allows a controller player to blindly shoot through smoke and have increased hit proficiency than what a MNK player would have.  If I shoot through smoke, I'm blindly hoping that I might hit someone.  Aim assist, while it may have been lowered, still allows a good player to "feel" the pull of the gun towards the enemy.  Where aim assist likely has issues is when multiple enemy combatants are nearby each other and this "pull" gets shifted because of these extra enemies that might be nearby.

In short, I believe you're wrong....MNK is at a disadvantage when you consider "all" of the extra benefits that controller players receive.
