Sound of enemies steps

Hi, well. In other shooters, you can hear the sound of enemy steps, how far they are, te direction of steps, so it's a very important resource, but in battlefield 6, you can hear enemy's, and how far they are, but not the direction, theres something not working with that, i play with headphones, and try 3d headphones but its the same. We need this plz.

Thanks for taking the time to waste your time and energy on this forum. Full of crap that not a single EA developer or product manager looks at. They have your money. They don't give a **bleep** about you

  • I've tested multiple different in-game settings. I've tested multiple headphones and multiple sound configurations in Windows 11. None give me the result that allows me to play by sound.

They aren't loud enough. The positionality is terrible, I can't tell how far away they are and I can only vaguely understand the direction, rather than precisely being able to pinpoint the location. The sound is drowned by other sounds far too easily. Even when it's quiet, you still can't reliably hear other people run.

To make matters worse, they added this shellshock effect that makes you temporarily deaf. Especially when there's a lot of things going on. Battlefield 2042 had this nonsense too, but at least that game had excellent positional audio.

  • I've had this issue as well with footsteps and helicopters buzzing above my head - pretty sure the team is working to fix spacial sound
