Additional notes to my previous comment
Squad leader path would gain leadership of the squad by default, if 2 players choose this path it will be given to the higher rank player
Request orders and orders wouldn't be removed, squads that don't have assault will still have a leader picked, Squad leader path will enhance or boost performance of teams that stick together and fallow orders
