State of Battlefield 6 & Improvements (after gameplay test)
How to know a game is the successor of its predecessor, just comparing them in all aspects and you will see the real difference. Overall (does it follow it's original formula? is it improved? or a lot of the stuff is being stripped away? or changed? or added something extra on top of the predecessor?)
BTW BF4 was released in October 29, 2013

#Sound:
BF6's overall gun sound design is terrible. Guns have that cheap plastic, crispy, punchy and syringey(suppressor) sound.
In real life, gunfire sounds a bit more airy, blasty and echoey (suppressor sound in real life doesn't sound like a syringe, it actually sounds very loud and has that air-splitting tone to it).
In BFBC2/BF3/BF4, the gun sound effect are more realistic also its got echoing effect after gun sound effect. Echoing effects are much more noticeable and played longer by high-caliber weapons.
In BF6 it's just gunfire base sound effect (sounds cheap) with very weak echoing sound effect after but do have reverb if you turn on wartape in settings. shotguns in BF6 sounds like it's being cut in the middle of the recording and kept the end half.
If you don’t understand the echoing effect I’ve been mentioning, just watch the "Street Shootout" scene from Heat.
Game like 'Insurgency sandstorm' also did a very good job in gun sound effect.
In BF6, the kill hit marker sound and visual effect feel very cheap, like they're from a mobile FPS game. In BF3 and BF4, kill hit marker is very minimalist with no sound effect, which added to the immersion.

#Graphics:
Everything looks very matte and cheap, moved away from BF3,4 which is more reflective and realistic IMO.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#UI:
The UI is just copying from COD, like the intro at the beginning of the match (even the intro itself!), the loadout & customization, and the victory or defeat screens at the end (with very cheap-looking, funky designs). In BF4, the match ending screen had a camera pointed at the scenery or buildings with epic music—nothing from COD at all. It was more minimalistic, without any messy UI design or icons.
The Gunsmith is copying Escape from Tarkov for some extra, unnecessary fanciness.
BF4's loadout, customization, and gunsmith are the GOAT. Why? Because it's fast to read, easy to understand, straightforward, and simple to use.

#Weapon & Overall Player & Gameplay Movements & Feels:
Guns in BF6 is easy to control and hit the target because of its low spread and recoil, I saw people could just kill a player with an SMG with trigger holding down from afar, no controlled fire is required. In BF3,4 most guns needed controlled fire in order to hit the target.
In BF4, you use grenade with two hands (like in real life), In BF6 you use grenade with one hand only.
The body movements in BF4 feels more lifelike and natural, very good at mimic human physiology. When you jump or fall, the camera has a natural bouncing effect. In contrast, BF6's player animations are unnaturally fast (reloading feels like it’s on godspeed), player camera feel is almost like a robot with a camera stabilizer and very rigid. In BF4, weapon movements are more fluid and relaxed when you look around, contributing to a more realistic experience that was unique to the BF series. In BF6, the weapon and overall movements feel unnaturally fast, almost robotic, with reflexes that seem inhuman.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#Camera:
Jet and helicopter camera view switching in BF4 is instant — fast with less motion sickness. In BF6, the camera moves around when switching views, which can be disorienting and slow for sweaty vehicle players.
Too many player camera visual and sound effects are being stripped away comparing to BF3,4, which kills the immersion.
Vehicles does not apear to have thermal camera mode in the playtest.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#Test range:
BF6 is copying COD's test range(even the test range itself in someway because of how similar they are), in BF4 you spawn on an island and can test vehicles too.
Could not access to settings while in test range which is very inconvenient.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#Final verdict:
BF6 added more features and visual stuff which is great but some of the orignal BF titles's immersive visual/sound effects are being stripped away.
The new Battlefield has lost many of its original traits. It’s less minimalistic and many aspects are copying from fast-paced shooters like COD, everything just looks very ''not battlefield''.
No new big open sandbox maps were shown, the game have less freedom on physics all very restricted, It's not overly unique but bit bland, Why CS GO still is a very popular game because they don't change the game's original formula when developing the next sequel (CS GO 2), so the loyal and majority players won't be split and upset over changes.
I just hope the new battlefields will just follow, refine, innovate its predecessor and won't copy the COD and developing the game without the influnce of COD.
