Pilots cried for years about the Fliegerfaust in BFV.
In BF6 they cried about the RPG and got it nerfed. In 2042 they cried about the TOR railgun killing them when they flew in straight lines because they were used to being invincible and getting a warning any time someone fired at them and got it nerfed. In BF3 and BF4 they cried about the stingers and the anti-air vehicles. Even pathetically weak weapons like the AA mine were made useless because of pilot whining.
Pilots don't care what the AA weapon is. They cry and want it nerfed. They expect to be able to soak damage like tanks, while being more effective at killing infantry, and getting to pick where to fight, and go 150-0 every round. But in turn they expect the Mobile AA to be bad at killing air vehicles, bad at killing infantry, useless against ground vehicles (unless like in BF6 you switch into a non-AA gun loadout) and easy to kill from the air.
The Liz Missile in 2042 was the ultimate "skill shot" for an AA weapon in Battlefield games. Pilots still cried about it and got it nerfed so badly that it was hard to hit ground vehicles with it, and all but impossible to hit air.
