Subscription requirements

Before purchasing BF 6 for XBox series X, I searched for subscription reuirements to play BF6 Multiplayer. Every search came back with no subscription requirements to play multiplayer. So I purchased and installed it, but all the multiplayer options have the lock icon in the selection box. If I click on a multiplayer option I get sent to a page to purchase a Gamepass Subscription. I'm confused. Is a gamepass subscription required for multiplayer? Thanks

    There is no fix for this at the moment if uninstalling and reinstalling doesnt work. You can also try to unplug your Xbox for 5 minutes and then turn it back on. I spoke to an advisor earlier and was told to patiently wait for the fix.
