So long as all the other launchers suck the RPG is still going to have the highest pick rate. The new IGLA is broken and doesn't operate as they even showed in their own videos. We didn't hear anything in their two recent posts about everything they're working on about fixing the IGLA. The stinger is mid at best and against a skilled or even just not idiotic helo pilot it is worthless. Combine that with flares breaking lock even after they're used, and that ANY flare even from allies will break lock. For ground, the LAW is OK but considering it's lethargic speed an enemy can drive to an entirely new map before it gets there. The LAW also can't be used against ground that parks itself in a building since the projectile goes up and hits the building. Don't even get me started on the trashalin, which takes 10 minutes to lock and gives all enemies the LARGEST giant red indicator that you are using it. You get smoked by the entire enemy team just for looking down the sights on that thing.
The worst part is that EA seems to be on the path of nerf the RPG until it sucks as much as everything else. They need to change every engi having 5 rockets to 2, and buff all the launchers with maybe the exclusion of the RPG. But just like with making support the sweatlord class, they want everyone to be a one man army in BF6. - thacrimsonfkr20 days agoNew Rookie
I think they have punished more skilled players for getting good with the rpg. We literly still have god mode equipment for snipers zeroing. The maps are not compatible for vehicle warfare becuase they are too small. There is no airspace and no room on land and as it should be your gonna be pelted by anti vehicle. Instead they have removed the effectiveness of the engineer class nearly completely this season. I spent 5 games with only lockons and was only able to shoot down two choppers. Another 2 games with rpg and I hit 1 chopper. This was all I did all game and granted it was an outlier . Skill is not the issue this is how ineffective your game can be with the current rebalence .

The fact a single RPG can destroy a tank isn’t right either.

RPGS Have always destroyed tanks in battlefield . the have also always insta killed infantry and aircraft up until now. So if your willing to bring back insta killing infantry id be willing to trade in rear shots only on tanks. Yall noobs got the rpg nerfed from launch. Players used to just be better and complain less . Its been solid for 10 to 15 years up till now.

I still find problem with rpg vs aircrafts. It is punishly fast. What i mean is, you can flick with it cause your muscle memory can calculate easy path cause you know its fast and preaiming almost no needed. And also aircrafts suchs as helicopters move slowly in 6, very predictable. Just saying, cause i get smacked a lot by rpg.

I main Eng and the only useful gadgets are the LAW and RPG. Everything else isn't useful. Using Stinger is a death sentence. Using Trashalin is a death sentence. Mines take too long to place, so usually I'm dead after placing the second one. The gadget which bounces up...I've rarely seen it do damage.
LAW is good for reducing buildings when attacking defenders and does well against tanks, but rarely do I get a kill on a tank just with LAW. RPG is good for suppression and occasional infantry kill. They work as well as LAW against tanks, which is so-so, usually I'm dead after the second shot.

Its arguably always been that way. Should they now make it impossible to snipe pilots out of aircraft? Pilots can fly in ways hard to shoot. I was running multiple games 10 to 15 minutes at a time prior the RPGS crippling nerf. Pilots in jets typically only got shot down when they flew 8 feet from the ground to drop a bomb on your face. Rightfully so to. Now we have choppers not doing much more then hovering and they are near impossible to shoot down. Fly like a noob you should get shot down like a noob. The maps are too small for vehicle domination. The lock-on's are useless and the rpg is barely competitive. Ours mines are not only seeable they are destroyable from a distance and any land vehicle. Our missiles and rockets are being blown up inour faces and killing us via the overpowered gadgets of the sniper class. 2042 platformed on the unguided rockets now the class has been slaughtered.

they murdered our class cause they want what they had on conquest's large maps on maps smaller then conquest small.

It's absoloutley okay to get shot when close to the ground. Yet again when 150-500m feels now more common than rare, i find it's not fine. Like i said, in 6 helo movement is much closer to milsim aka slow and predictable. I've piloted since 3 and in 6 its absolute nightmare. Reddit is fully flooded by rpg shots. Even 2042 had fast rpg and m5, yet helo movement was faster. You can always take one and make one flight over the map and see, will you get blasted or not. Eastwood has low flight ceiling.
Also helis in bf6 velocity drops rapidly when you make quick turn.
