Suggestion: Cleaning up persistent servers & adding local mode
Dear EA / DICE Team,
I hope you’re all doing well. First of all, thank you for your incredible work on Battlefield 6. The game looks stunning and plays beautifully, and it’s clear that a lot of heart and dedication went into it.
I wanted to share a small piece of feedback regarding the current state of persistent servers. Right now, there are quite a few servers that remain online permanently - many of them completely empty or created solely for XP farming. These don’t really bring any meaningful value to the game or the community, and over time, they make it more difficult for players to find real, active matches.
If possible, it would be wonderful to see some kind of monitoring system that helps remove or reset inactive persistent servers. Alongside that, I think many players would really appreciate the option to create local or private servers, similar to what was available in Battlefield 2042. These could operate under moderate experience modes where XP gain is limited compared to standard modes, but players can still unlock and test all weapons, attachments, vehicles, and skills exactly as they would on public servers.
Such an option would let players enjoy Battlefield 6 more freely, whether they just want to relax, play with friends, or train with bots, without affecting the public matchmaking balance.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and for listening to the community. Small adjustments like these could make a real difference and help keep Battlefield 6 enjoyable for a long time to come.
