Something like Medal of Honor: Warfighter, where special forces from all over the world were featured – they had their own unique outfits.
That would be cool, but Battlefield 6 has veered towards the colorful version of Call of Duty, so it's unlikely to happen.
From the very beginning, the developers have been mocking Call of Duty with their skins; Battlefield 6 was supposed to return to its military roots, and we know how that turned out...
walas85 Yeah, I actually agree with you. Having more realistic skins inspired by real-world special forces like in Medal of Honor: Warfighter would definitely be a great direction for the game.
That said, I do think they’ve already started moving in the right direction recently. Compared to earlier, it feels like the game is slowly shifting back toward a more grounded and military-focused style.
It’s not perfect yet, and there’s still a bit of a gap, but the foundation is there. We’re on the right track.
I think small additions could really push it further, like:
More realistic operator skins
Gear inspired by actual special forces units or military units
And things like country flag patches to reinforce immersion and identity
With a few changes like that, it could really help bring Battlefield closer to its original military roots while still keeping customization.
