I tried that as well...joined a zero player server with everything green except "stats" gray and nada...match wont begin until more players join.
Apparently some existing experiences do still work solo against bots, but new or republished ones won't start with only a single player. Code YQPV7 (Conquest) is one I've seen mentioned on Reddit as still working, for example (not tried ot myself).
You are correct...I found that code and opted to host it myself and it worked. 6 bots per team was ridiculous, but it did work nonetheless. I wonder what you have to do to the rules file to get it to work like this?
