The Battle Pass progression system is absolute garbage – Let us play our way!
I am writing this because I am deeply frustrated with the current Battle Pass progression system in BF6. Forcing players to progress exclusively through specific challenges instead of general gameplay is a completely broken and brainless design choice.
A Battle Pass should reward people for playing the game, not for treating it like a second job. Right now, the system forces us to constantly play exactly how the developers force us to. If you don't complete 100% of it, you don't get enough coins back to buy the next season, which forces players to spend real money again. It feels like the devs designed these tedious challenges on purpose just to make people fail and pay up.
Instead of playing the game relaxed and how we want, we are forced to constantly check menus and complete annoying tasks—like tracking down specific gadgets just to mark vehicles. It completely ruins the match flow and even rewards toxic playstyles where dying on purpose is faster than actually playing. Whoever greenlit this entire progression model is completely out of touch with the community.
This does not feel like fun; it feels like annoying, forced labor. We want to log in, play the way we enjoy, and progress naturally through standard gameplay. The progression should be tied to pure playtime, kills, and overall match score, so every playstyle feels rewarding.
I really hope the team reconsiders this design. Please change this system to respect the players' time, so we can finally focus on enjoying the actual game again.
