The EA shareholders are designing the game, and it shows.

Unless I'm mistaken, the new progression system for mastery means that you can basically sit there, repair a vehicle, and get weapon unlocks. Why? Why not just reduce the amounts of xp needed to level up? Why even bother using the weapons at all at this point? Why did I spend hours with the PSR sniper when soon, I could just sit there and get free unlocks? I really hope I'm wrong with this, as why even use weapons at this point? Hell, why not just make the whole game Motorcross?

Also Golmud. I've heard people say that the map is being shrunk down. Some say that if you were in the outskirts, you weren't contributing to the match anyway so it doesn't matter. So, what? We should be grateful that the map has been shrunk to fit the poorly designed small map agenda of BF6?

It's not worked well so far, why would it work for Golmud? Do vehicles still not matter at all? They go out of bounds almost instantly on most maps, especially jets, so why is it being shrunk?

I'm reserving full judgement for when I see it play (I've uninstalled so won't be trying it until I get feedback from others that the game is improving).

New machete, new single gun, new gadget.

This isn't content. This is filler, that should've been in the game from the start, that we could earn from levelling up. Instead, it's drip fed, live service rubbish.

BF1 would give us several new maps and weapons at once. I don't buy a new BF Pro or season for a new shrunken map, single melee weapon and single gun. The previous gadgets were nerfed so badly that they became useless anyway.

And finally, there's very little to no communication between development and the players. There's a huge divide, and it really shows in the output. It feels like the shareholders, rich people who don't do gaming, are making the game. (AI generated stickers that we are being charged for, being a big indicator).

Some serious discussions need to be had about season 3, and better communication going forward as the gameplay across the board is in a really poor state, and I can only see it getting worse from here.

They did lower the amount of XP you need, even more so for pistols.  I think giving XP for use is a good solution to the ... well designed ... attachment unlock system.  I also feel like that I deserve some XP for using a firearm and suppressing people, hitting people once in the foot then getting the assist, dealing damage to a helo with an LMG, etc.  XP for just plain kills only rewards the CoD sweats.

Golmud being shrunk isn't the problem.  The problem is they will redesign the OBJ locations and cover and pathways and just basically everything while still calling it golmud.  Firestorm isn't firestorm, it just barely resembles it.  They ruined firestorm by thinking they were smarter than the people who made it in the first place.  Would have been 1000000x better if they had just ported the BF4 version into BF6.

Vehicles have the same problem as above.  It won't be the OOB that matters, it will be the new design that causes the problem.

The problem isn't amount of content, it's what content is being invested into.  They keep working on redsuck like it's just going to blow up someday.  But no one who bought this game, and most people who are buying cosmetics don't care about redsuck.  90% of the people who actually are giving EA money came for BATTLEFIELD, not "BR clone #1,532."  They're also spending resources making LTM modes.  Why?  An LTM does NOT give players the feeling that content is being added.  Even more so with how broken portal is, and not having a real server browser.  LTM content, when allowed to be used by players building custom content in portal, could be pretty cool.  Instead, because there is no real server browser, it's just wasted potential.

Absolutely spot on about communication.  They need to take a note from Arrowhead and post in every update what they know is broken, needs fixed, what is being worked on, everything.  Instead we get a random list of notes, then on patch day it's found out that even what they told us isn't half of it, and half of what they told us about didn't actually happen or is broken.  Just horrid communication from this team.
