Can PC players get some feedback?
The new leadership at EA is on track to lose a large portion of the Battlefield 6 PC player base. A major issue that keeps coming up is aim assist for console players it increasingly feels like it’s been pushed to a point where it resembles soft aim bot behavior. With each update, it seems to get stronger, and it’s creating a growing imbalance between console and PC players.
If you look at the Steam player numbers, the trend already suggests frustration on the PC side. At the same time, decisions like layoffs and a perceived lack of engagement with the PC community only add to the concern that player feedback isn’t being taken seriously.
A straightforward solution would be to give players the option to fully disable cross-platform matchmaking. That way, console players can compete among themselves with their current aim assist settings, while PC players can have a more level playing field.
Ignoring these concerns risks long term damage to the game’s health and community.
