Can PC players get some feedback?

The new leadership at EA is on track to lose a large portion of the Battlefield 6 PC player base. A major issue that keeps coming up is aim assist for console players it increasingly feels like it’s been pushed to a point where it resembles soft aim bot behavior. With each update, it seems to get stronger, and it’s creating a growing imbalance between console and PC players.

If you look at the Steam player numbers, the trend already suggests frustration on the PC side. At the same time, decisions like layoffs and a perceived lack of engagement with the PC community only add to the concern that player feedback isn’t being taken seriously.

A straightforward solution would be to give players the option to fully disable cross-platform matchmaking. That way, console players can compete among themselves with their current aim assist settings, while PC players can have a more level playing field.

Ignoring these concerns risks long term damage to the game’s health and community.

  • Sadly I doubt they will respond to us.

From where someone said we cant turn off crossplay because they dont know how all PC game stores can talk to each other, (Im on steam and my co worker is on Epic) and we seemed to have zero issues playing in the same server with each other.....Also dont forget when someone found a work around for all us PC players and they patched it up in a week.

I feel you man they’re not listening. I don’t think it’s right that you guys have to modify a file to close down cross play, but I will say it is horrible on console. The cheating is horrific over there the fact that they can buy a controller that aims for them and fixes the recoil on top of that they have Ames turned on. The maps are too small they Nerf some guns that need to be nerved and they buff some guns that makes no sense. I kinda hope they go in the tank. I’ve uninstalled mine and left it alone. I was so upset at him. I was trying to get banned hardware wise, so I’ll never be tempted to download it again this game has become one of the biggest dumpster fires I’ve ever seen. They’re doing all these stupid sponsors 511 Red Bull dirtbike challenge. What the heck is this? This is not battlefield but they don’t care dude the company was bought by Sadies and all they want is money money they can give a crap. The only way to impact them is to uninstall this game and don’t buy another one there’s plenty of other games I’ve been playing Arma that is pretty fun.

  • Input-based matching is what we desperately need if they're going to babysit controller players. And it's not just them; it's those using modded controllers making things worse. Only game I play is Battlefield, and I play it nearly every day. I see the BS going on with controllers. There's a lot of other issues we're currently dealing with in Battlefield 6, and this controller nonsense only adds to the frustration.

    "lose a large portion"
I don't think any part of the remainder can be called a large portion anymore.  95% of the playerbase has abandoned this game already.  There is no large amount left to be lost.
