The focus on squad/friends gaming

I’m all for more squad teamwork, it’s makes the game better in every aspect.

And though EA Dice claim to want to coax players into more team play, they don’t provide any tools to make friends and new squad members.

to be fair i think they'd argue they did integrate a suite of tools for making friends and joining up with them to play together.
    There's:
    - an ability to look at people you recently met,
    - add them as a friend,
    - see what they are doing at any time,
    - join the game they're currently in,
    - start a squad lobby together and invite more friends

(Speaking from PC version, I assume consoles are even more streamlined).

So if you aren't counting any of these features which are embedded directly within the game, what exactly would you like to see?

Aside, devout BF fans will often meet to form squads via Discord and hangout there in the background/while not playing. And there is an official Battlefield Discord server to facilitate this. Maybe you'd want to check it out.
