Cheers. You probably will need to turn crossplay on to find matches then, as you mentioned. From what I gather, the crossplay-off side of things is limited like it is on Xbox. You could try installing the PS4 version if you wanted console crossplay though.
You could also build your own Portal playlist and play against AI if you want to grind things a little bit and unlock attachments for guns and vehicles at the same time. There are limited Portal spaces at the moment, so it might take a while to get a server going, but it could be an option for you.
I guess that could work but I'm really trying to play the game and I really don't like it. It's really bad, at least for me. It's sad but I'll miss out on these exclusives. Hopefully we'll have a way to get them in the future but this time in BF6. Cheers!
