Fellow doctors, we have been forsaken!
I wrote a post about this recently but it seems mostly unheard, Voice your opinions! The Defibilator changes must go!
How many matches have you played where you've garnered 50+ revives simply because you're the only support playing as a proper medic, now what is to be done with us. We have been cast out and forgotten in the name of "balance". Elite heli pilots still dominate the skies, AA gunners keep youre average gamer from seeing the clouds, And WE The Medics Who Care dominated our domain, WE were that one player in the match anyone could rely on, WE were the ones who got to the top of the leaderboard with 0 kills and stayed. And now WE have been forgotten, now the only real medics in the game can no longer do their job WE can't do our job. All in the name of balance. I know it may seem petty, but like I said before, that was OUR domain, no different then that heli pilot who has 130 kills, or that one jet pilot who hates other people playing the game. WE had a skill, and now it's practically useless. Change the Defibrillators back. Please.
-Sincerely, The Medics Who Care
i play support about 30% of the time and i havent really noticed a huge difference in the defibs. most of the time, youre not running into a group of 10 players that all need a revive. 3 is plenty, and then you take a few shots waiting for them to recharge and go again. i dont mind the new change. it's definitely more fair if an attacking team wipes 1-2 squads and the one medic just sits behind cover and spam revives. so I'm fine with the changes tbh. And a lot of players give up before you even get to them. it's shockingly often that I run to revive and as i'm 2 feet away they giveup.

I main support and I really disagree, I can't speak for everybody but any of the good Medics that I've met don't sit behind cover, 90% of their gameplay is running into some really risky situation to turn the tide and that's what mine looks
And that point about people giving up it's already hard enough to play medic as it is, there really needs to be a dedicated medic class and you can't really spam revive because after somebody dies and is revived there's a period before they can actually be revived again usually about 15 seconds though I've never been counting
If they made it a bit easier to be a dedicated medic. By adding features that promoted people not giving up other than the loss of tickets then I'd be a bit more okay with it but right now most medic gameplay is fast-paced and risky putting all these debuffs on the defibrillators just makes things harder, some of the games that I've been playing I don't have time to think about delays and recharges I just know that there's some guy 40 m away who needs to be revived and then I'm getting fire bombed and smoked and shot at by a million other guys especially on the new underground map (which I really like)

i think youre getting bogged down by the 3 max and the recharge... which i get if youre just spamming defibs. 3 is good tho and it doesnt take but 12 seconds to regen 3 more. I played breakthrough on hagenthal the other day and we had 4 medics all at once covering every bit of the 3rd objective and with just 4 medics we depleated all the other team while losing very few players because we were able to revive and resupply everyone constantly. it lasted 15 minutes in just that one area and we were able to deplete all of the attackers' tickets. all with the new defib rules. so while i understand that none of us want our favorite gadgets and class getting nerfed, I still think this is a fine change. I'm more angry about the buff to vehicles that it's going to take 30-50% more hits from rockets. that changes the game far more than not having unlimited defibs automatically.
