You couldn't really "hop" around in the beta, at least not in the way you could in Battlefield 2042. The only exception is when you were specifically using exploits. It's great that they fix the exploits, but I don't like what I'm seeing when it comes to the movement changes.
If we are talking about the sway penalty from sliding into a jump, or jumping into a slide, it seems the beta was already fine in that regard and didn't need nerfing. I'm fine with penalties for consecutively sliding/jumping within a short duration though.

All they had to do was fix the exploits. I am afraid the updated movement penalty changes will make the game feel (possibly a lot) worse. Based on videos it looks pretty bad, but we will see.
