I think BF/COD all feel the same. Never has felt competitive/hard to me due to lack of recoil and ADS. If I want to actually try a harder game that takes skill, I'll play CS facit 8+ or rank 20k+. But every now then I gotta enjoy the simpler things like BF/COD. Maybe switch to CS instead if you want a harder game that takes actual skill and hundreds/thousands of hours of practice. But I agree with you that like 75% of the guns are useless since there is a variant thats better in all other regards (lower damage falloff, higher rof, faster ttk, etc.)
