It's the same thing that happened in 2042.
It doesn't matter how much EA nerf portal, it's already too late. The bot farms will constantly fill the max capacity how ever much EA makes it. Even if no-one is playing them, the servers are botted to stay up constantly.
Nothing will change until there's a proper server browser and individuals can make a persistent always up server of their own.
My words exactly. They knew that it could come to that with the release of bf6 because it already happened in the previous game. And yet they advertised it with 100% progression.
Is it annoying that portal is running at capacity? Yeah, obviously. But it's not the fault of the Bot Experience players. It's EA's fault for not having enough capacity to grant everyone their own server like they said.
But there is no way that they didn't consider the possibility that it would come to many XP farm servers like in the previous game. They had to know or at least expect it, and yet they still made the announcement that you would get 100% progression in portal.
The reason that the servers are running at capacity now is only because their player base has significantly increased, and they didn't anticipate that, or they didn't care enough.
They also on some maps made bots very buggy, for example on some maps bots completely ignore any vehicle, unless it run by player, or they just focus on jets/heli. So even with bots and their backfill things, they failed.
