This is NOT what i paid for. I bought this game to be able to play and create portal experiences.
Nerfing the XP and attachment progress for us legitimate casual players is devastating. I will never be able to get a good gun now. It takes so long to unlock stuff in regular matches for us old casual folks.
Anyone who says they did not advertise this is lying. I'm just not even interested in playing BF6 any longer. It's the principle of the matter. Why screw over so many legitimate players instead of coming up with a solution for exploiters?

Well i think they actually do. I'm currently request straight to steam cs to get a refund with proof of they lied to us. Hopfully get a refund

I never received any of the xp compensation boosts. They changed the phantom edition skins after i had already bought them. EA's "bait and switch" method of doing business is going to catch up with them someday.
Also i'm not really care about K/D and score counting any other, i just like to unlock progress of my challenge or reach mastery 50 of my weapons as i'm enjoy pve and they did allow it before. Why don't they just disable the K/D so any hardcore PvP player care about it?

from what we have seen today, you can still get career/player xp, but no more mastery etc for weapons & gadgets & some challenges do count, but others don't, it's a complete mess at the moment. Even in EA's own hardcore server games, you get limited things.
not a single lobby in the server list was full XP today, half and half Player Bot was what i live for when it comes to enjoyment for BF!
DICE just destroyed Portal in one fatal swoop. Unbelievable.
Battlefield is a multiplayer game. It's not made to farm xp vs bots and have easier progress than everyone else.
Matches with bots =/= bot farming, just a friendly reminder.
Playing a multiplayer game doesn't mean I have to be forced to play AGAINST other players. In addition to the normal rounds, we also played leisurely games against bots in order to test new weapons and gadgets without being mowed down directly. In addition to the fact that the description in Portal 101 is now also incorrect, which unfortunately brings me to the point that we have been ripped off by EA AGAIN. My refund is also ongoing, but I'm afraid citizens outside the EU don't have this luxury.
I totally agree， the XP and attachment progress is too difficult for casual players. It shouldn't be like this. Nowadays, casual players have to fight against AI in the portal just to get a better gaming experience in multiplayer mode. The current nerf to portals makes me wonder if DICE only wants streamers and hardcore players to play this game. Can the promotional claims made in the portal trailer at the time be interpreted as EA and DICE simply trying to scam casual and regular players out of their money?
Well said, that is completely spot on, ea dice confirmed before release that solo/co-op would return, but as we found out, that was only a limited promise to level 15.
I was about ready to uninstall & be done with it, then a friend suggested the portal, now i knew about it, but i thought it'd be too complicated for me to figure out, lol.
I managed to make some fun basic Conquest, Breakthrough & Rush games, simply to re create the whole "squad vs ai" experience.

2042 allows mastery up with bots enabled to the point where all the attachments are unlocked. This is ironically better than what BF6 does now.
It's really very simple they can not support the software they are selling. They do not seem to have a Quota on the number of sales. All this Baloney about "XP Farming" is total BS and as far as I can tell "XP Farming" is not a recognized legal terminology by any Court. It is 100% a "Money For Nothing" scheme. And their use of the term is an attempt to belittle and besmirch People. It is a scheme and I will detail it's set up one more time.
Market and sell some software.
Set up two types of servers, one an actual server running the software, and another cheap old tech one to pump out some BS messaging 100,000 times a minute until it fries. The cheapies cost about 1/100th of the real deal. As time goes by and they sell more copies of the software they only add more and more cheap throw aways ... thus the scam is complete.
Sit back and watch the money roll in.

I ain't clicking away at that HOST Button no more and highly recommend ya'll stop doing it, it really is bad for your health.
The fatal flaw in this scheme is the theft of peoples time. Time is a commodity that can never be replaced, and I dare them to put a price on it. My stats are ... 64 hours total in game with 24 of that clicking on that scam button. I have convinced two paralegals to join in and we found an Older Lady with about 8 months to live that is clicking away.

With the patch at 21.10.2025 community portal servers don’t give full xp, which means no fun rounds in the BF6 sandbox with my friends and enjoy playing and have a good releaxed time and getting some funny tools and weapons which are gatekeept behind the char-level. Now to get the funny tools and weapons we are forced to join the random matches with the K/D obsessed me,me,me,I,I,I,my,my,my lone wolf players and the players who loves to insult other players based on their K/D ?
