As described in the "Battlefield 6 Maps, Modes & Portal" trailer (at 3:20) Verified Portal Experiences are supposed to have "full progression and XP gain".
This was true until earlier today, it is currently not true anymore. Only "Match Completion Bonus" seems to be active on Verified Portal Experiences. The "Win Bonus", "Score", "Accolades" is disabled. The four secondary progressions "Mastery XP", "Daily Missions", "Assignments" and "Other Challenges" are also disabled.
I assume this is a bug on your part.

Issue Statement: It looks like we (rightfully) nerfed portal experiences to only give Career XP, but nothing for mission stuff. However, "Official rules Hardcore" has also been nerfed and "other Progression" has been disabled:
Shouldn't be the case as all previous BF's had hardcore progression enabled as long as it was official rules. I know custom servers were limited in the past the further it deviated from the official norms. If we can get the same back for hardcore that would be wonderful. Thank you.

Restore Progression for Hardcore Official Rules only.

I also tried to level up the tr-7 in a public game and it’s stuck at the same rank
so I don’t know if it’s just portal that has limited xp
Do you have Bot Backfill turned on like every other conquest portal that needs to meet the 32 player threshold in lobby requirement for the round to start? If so the that's the issue. They need to get rid of or lower that ridiculously high threshold so we can all turn off bot backfill and rid our servers of bots!
Unfortunately its not a bug and DICE/EA decided to gut the Xp earn rate because people were making xp farms, which in turn leaves players like me who like to play vanilla experiences with bot backfill enabled on the curb, hopefully they fix this because this is really annoying
Oh it better be a bug/mistake on EA's part. Until they return xp/progression to Portal or give us solo/coop mode, I will not be playing any further. I refuse to play online with the sweats and cheaters.
It hasn't been officially stated by EA but they did infact gut the xp gain in Portal due to the amount of Bot farms there are/were in the server space. Unfortunately from what I've heard it also affects legit games that have bots in it so it sucks there but there is a reason behind it and not just a bug.
Sadly i cant find a single server with no bots. I dont know why bots were even a thing to begin with, But now theyve effectively nerfed portal. Ill be requesting a refund.
Battlefield 6 bring back Portal ways to grind dailies, weekly, and assignment grind being able to grind maps and grinding was so much fun and it felt like pve content and it would give players an option say if I am tired of doing multiplayer for pvp .. I can have a day to chill by myself.
I am thinking of stopping to play this game as this is ridiculous .. there couldv'e been a way around this like make portal grind be 30% XP or 50% XP so much better instead of full XP ... why does the majority of Bots farms of other players have to affect the other majority who just wants to chill on there own portal doesn't make any sense.
Please find a way to make us and you have a balance.
Just saw that I am unable to grind dailies, weekly, and assignments on portal that is so dumb .. there shouldv'e been a way around this and maybe do 30% xp in portals bots while dailies, weekly, and assignments should still be done whenever on portal making my own custom or multiplayer .. would have been the best way pvp and pve content.
It's not even a month since launch, and they are already pushing the game towards the grave! Instead of fixing the multitude of problems and bugs that the game now has, they decide to do things to break it even further!
I already have a majority of friends I played with in previous titles who won't touch the game because of the bugs, and now they kill off our ability to progress their ridiculous XP requirements for weapon attachment unlocks!
Add to this the insane problems with the laser painter and the tank lock-on shells against air vehicles, and they just made the whole multiplayer large-map games unplayable!
To me the answer is so simple, I just can't understand why EA has not done this – REDUCE THE **bleep** XP REQUIREMENTS FOR UNLOCKS!!!! That will stop people creating farming servers, and then the portal can have its XP back!
No, it's your type of single players selfish portal xp farm that is killing communities. I'm glad EA is doing something about this. I wish they could take it further and just get rid of bots completely. BF is a PVP. Go play the campaign if the competition is to tough for you
EA are missing the point. I hate bots but every Portal Conquest is a bot farm because EA have put in a cap where the round will not start until 32 or more players are in the lobby. People will not sit staring at the lobby screen until 32 players show up for the round to start, which has force people like me that hate bots but love there gaming clan community to run a server back filled with bots to get the round to start. Therefore as I say every server has become a bot farm through EAs 32 to player start threshold.
The in lobby threshold needs to be removed or reduced to 2 vs 2 for Portal Conquest and equivalent, then I can seed the round with my gaming clan and turn off bot backfill!
XP gain is currently turned off for weapons, and set to just 150% match completion on official DICE hardcore modes. Even Hardcore Rush, which is featured as a game mode suffers from this. This will kill off all hardcore players.
Even official servers aren't rewarding me xp at the end of the match. Stuck at level 28.
I can understand all the **bleep**ty XP farm issues, but what about people trying to build a community back up that they had in BC2, BF3 and BF4 - only being able to have 3 mates in your party and it being difficult for other friends to join the same server, doesnt induce a community, you just get random matches often full of toxic players and or cheats. Ever since they took away the ability to host our own servers the games whilst still good, have lost their appeal. If I want to play against a load of random sweaties I'll go play COD. Battlefield has always been about communities and friends playing together. Come on EA, sort your **bleep** out, it's obvious which portal servers were just XP farms. If you won't do this, at least make the squads bigger than 4 people ffs!
