You've just completely screwed over a large portion of the player base just now by turning off weapon and attachment XP in portal servers.
I don't have time to play this game all day every day. I will never be able to be on par with other players without being able to unlock attachments and weapons faster. It takes incredibly long in a normal match for casual folks like me to unlock stuff.
I am a legitimate player who plays breakthrough and conquest matches against bots. I am too old and this game is sometimes too fast for me. I just want to relax after work and kill some bots with my friends, or by myself.
Now, i can't. I'm out until this is changed. This was the last straw for me. EA just completely screwed a lot of us over.

So wait what, we're doing their job for them now???. I created an experience on portal that is EA verified a normal vanilla mode and now i need to submit my creation to them to be excluded from XP nerf. Surely a simple algorithym would eliminate created experiences that are ok from not ok (simple don't allow creation of dodgy servers - is this rocket science or what) would eliminate the bad ones?. I'll send my bank details shortly you can pay me for doing YOUR work and buying YOUR game and then i need to sort it out not happening. Been reporting farming servers for days now and get generic we looked into it buy can't be bothered emails back. QED if you can't be bothered i can't be bothered. Refund incomming if you don't extract the finger from your 🕳️👈

The message about progression and eligibility within the verified portal mode, was actually crystal clear. Before launch, from their own launch advertisement video for the game. It was fine, working well for a lot of people.Server capacity was the main issue. People made noise and complained whilst many others were just having fun. They listened to the noise then punished a lot of innocent players in the process. It's ludicrous. I've spent more time on Forum the last 2 days than actually enjoying the game. Season 1 can do one until they get a fair compromise for all.
I'm glad your expectations are in the basement. EA needs more non-discerning players like yourself to accept that they paid full price for to beta test the game's features.

I am as aggrieved as anyone at this. This is but one of many issues plaguing the game right now. I am satisfied enough that this proposed way forward seems decent and palatable.
Do I wish the game were perfect from the go? Stupid question, no?
