You've just completely screwed over a large portion of the player base just now by turning off weapon and attachment XP in portal servers.
I don't have time to play this game all day every day. I will never be able to be on par with other players without being able to unlock attachments and weapons faster. It takes incredibly long in a normal match for casual folks like me to unlock stuff.
I am a legitimate player who plays breakthrough and conquest matches against bots. I am too old and this game is sometimes too fast for me. I just want to relax after work and kill some bots with my friends, or by myself.
Now, i can't. I'm out until this is changed. This was the last straw for me. EA just completely screwed a lot of us over.
To be honest it does not actually take long to unlock attachments. In BF4 you had to get about almost 200 kills with a gun to unlock everything for it. Given that there are more attachments in bf6, it should be no surprise that it takes more kills to unlock everything. Secondly, you’re not uncompetitive in multiplayer because you don’t have the attachments. You feel uncompetitive because you’re not actually competing with players lol the game came out less than two weeks ago. Give yourself some time to learn, but you need to actually play the game to do that.

It does not help that the sniper rifles start with the worst x6 scope. mastery 10 is needed for a better x6 scope and Mastery 18 to 22 for the first x8 scope. For anyone going for headshots, it is vital to make those heads as large as possible. x6 is a mid range scope at best.
Have fun consistently landing 200+ meter headshots with a x6. Sure it can be done but the head is probably the width of the crosshair lines.
