Forum Discussion
Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you. The post from EA_Shepard was made before the complete and final removal of progression from matches with bots and before bots were removed from official modes. It’s not a response to this thread or any other.
While ea_sheoard appears to be active on the forums and replies to other topics, both he and other EA/DICE representatives are completely ignoring this issue. You have to understand that EA/DICE has no intention at this point of bringing back bots or progression — certainly not under pressure from a few hundred players.
Right now, there are nearly 300,000 players playing BF6 on Steam alone. A small group of dissatisfied players like us is just a tiny fraction of that number. The only thing that could possibly make EA/DICE reconsider bringing back bots and progression would be a drastic drop in player count, which is not happening at the moment.
They might also consider changes if the group of unhappy players was truly large — in the tens of thousands — but not just a few hundred.
A few days ago, I created a petition to EA/DICE asking them to restore bots and progression, but unfortunately, it got no attention. Only a handful of people signed it, and no one shared it. Yet a petition is one of the few ways to reach the developers — it’s worked in the past.
Sadly, just complaining in this thread won’t change anything.

meh - I really doubt that and do believe they will re-implement the bots at some point (just as they did in BF2042)...I just don't think it's a top priority to them right now and neither is treating the PvE community well, by offering refunds to those who were screwed over by their actions.
That being said, I don't think it'll take quite as long as you may be imagining either. It'll likely be sooner than later...maybe within a few weeks is a guess.- MiRoz812 months agoRising Scout
Od course they will do it. This is why I said "at this point". Once numbers of players will start going down, then eventually they will try to get us back. If in few weeks I don't know. I'm hoping you are right. Anyways I'm playing BF 2042 for now and having fun in solo/coop ☺️

The fact that this thread is one of the most viewed and most commented posts on this forum, right up there with the Anti-Cheat system, and other high profile issues I would tend to disagree with you. Also if only 5% of the current player count was unhappy with this issue (and I think it is much higher than that) that amounts to approx. 15000 players so yeah its significant enough to be an issue.

MiRoz is right, complaining here doesn't really do anything. EA forums are among the most useless places to get any accomplishments.
There is a more recent comparable example. Forum about 2042 adding a server browser. Over 5,000 replies. Ignored outright. Dimwits didn't learn their leasson and have done the identical failure here, despite promising a server browser. EA is very disreputable, do not ever trust them.

Nevertheless, I'd support keeping the forum going, hence I'm here. At the least, make record about how awful EA is. Happens every game launch /sigh..........

It's not just a "small group" or "tiny fraction" of the players. This is the largest thread on the Battlefield 6 forum here. It's also mentioned frequently on Twitter, and is the only thing that people talk about in the Portal channel on the official Battlefield discord server.
