"I dont have fun because I'm not good at the game, and i don't want to get better. Instead i want to casually farm xp and its unfair they're taking that away" is all im hearing.
Why do you deserve to gain the same XP i do when im in real lobbies, playing against real players?
Everyone is so entitled and wants things to be easy. It might be a sandbox experience but its also a competitive game where people play to win.
I'll say this though. I hope they dont take away your bot lobbies. I want you to have fun as well as others. I think the entitlement is a bit out of control
The problem here is, BF6 is extremely unfriendly to casual players. Back in the old days, there were leagues and pro lobbies where players like you could compete, and normal players still had fun.
BF used to be a game which I could open, select my favourite kit and just play. Get some promotions, maybe some skin or something. Great example of very balanced approach is BattleBit. I was looking to BF6 so much, that it weill be BF2 remake, but when first saw the XP mechanics... I almost throwed up.
The gap between casual players (those with limited time, not will!) and gamers able to spend 4 hours per day in the game is so big, not only because of skill, but moreover because I cannot ever get any of those achivevements needed, which adds to the handicap. Everything is locked and by the time I get it I bet "Season Pass" or other money-milking method will wipe that out.
Solution: grid XP? No fun. Cheats: very popular, since its heavily rewarded. The rest of us family guys, only lobbies with half of bots so we can at least have some fun.
Hope that DICE will add something like hardcode mode, everything unlocked, fully customized and recognize "skill" by ranks or prestrigues, unlocking some skins or - like IRL, variery of ribbons and achievements. Now that would be fun.
