Hey Folks!
I’m not trying to complain, I just don’t understand the logic behind this.
I don’t think tips are what we need — the requirement simply needs to be lowered.
The Joyful Nurse achievement requires 1,966 revives, but that’s in 32- or 24-player teams, while the RedSec achievement requires 1,988 revives with a maximum team size of 3 players.
From a design perspective, this just doesn’t really add up.
Domper0928 That is fair. And that has been notated too. The only reason we would throw in tips or anything of the nature is for those who cannot get it when there are some alternatives to getting it completed.
The main thread itself isn't about tips, though; it is about changing it, and those who did not get it. That was the feedback passed along. The tips are just a by-the-way thing.

EA_Shepard The 1988 revives really is insane. Especially for players who can not invest 8 hours per day playing RedSec.
I would guess that under normal circumstances you can get between 10 and 20 revives per match depending on skill/speed (not single round within a match of Gauntlet!). Including waiting times in the lobby etc. you can usually get 2 full matches per hour, which leaves us at 20 - 40 revives per hour. You see where this is going? Players will need to focus solely on maximizing revives per match for about 50 - 100 hours nonstop. Or, in other words: If you put in 10 hours per week, that's two and a half months doing nothing else but RedSec Gauntlet and focusing on revives only, unable to play any other mode or playstyle etc. This is just an insane requirement.
"Rise from your grave" is the only achievement I have left, and I also read a lot about boosting it on Reddit and other websites because otherwise it will take months and people don't want to deal with this. And I do want to play the battle pass missions, new maps etc. of course, so I can't dedicate my entire free gaming time to completing this single achievement which, as others have stated, has nothing to do with skill or anything. I also have to admit that I am not a big fan of RedSec, so this achievement feels not like an accomplishment, it feels like an utter punishment because its only purpose is to draw more people into RedSec for multiple months if they want to complete all achievements.I am a completionist, sadly, and I already feel my motivation to play fade quickly because I am not enjoying it. I am not having my Battlefield Moments in this mode and it feels like a chore or work, not something I would want to fire up after work.
I like difficult achievements. Just recently I have done all achievements in Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake and Resident Evil Requiem. I also have all Steam achievements in Battlefield 2042 (which also had a terrible one, getting 25 extractions in Hazard Zone), but they all don't compare to reviving 1988 players in Battle Royale or Gauntlet. This, this is a grind from hell. And to be honest, this number should be lowered massively.

Honestly I just don't see it happening, I never seen an achievement changed because it was to difficult to achieve. And I don't think they will listen to a handful of us completionists.

CrispyPinguin It is rare, but I have seen it. I wish I could say we had more sway in it, but those types of decisions are way above us. The more people comment, the more feedback on it there is, so the player's voice is heard, but yes, sometimes it does not happen the way we want it to.
