If we don't agree we will cap you, restrict you, and generally make the game unplayable to the point where you don't even bother, but hey, it's okay, we have your money now, thank you.
And I'm pretty sure that in the terms and conditions, nobody mentioned anything about Fun !
I’m honestly at my limit with EA right now. I bought Battlefield 6 specifically because it was advertised to include the Portal experience and solo play with bots — just like in Battlefield 2042. That was the whole reason I made the purchase.
Now I find out it’s not even included? Seriously? I just want to play with my son in the same house, not deal with random toxic players online. What happened to the days when you could choose how to play?
I’ve been an EA customer since the ’80s, and this is honestly one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. EA — please, give us the choice to play solo or co-op against bots. Don’t take away the way so many of us actually enjoy Battlefield.
Alot of us are upset about this and I vote they just make it 8 players for NON BOT FULL Lobbies. Add team switching in on this as well if possible...
All they had to do was copy and paste 2042’s portal functionality and paste it into BF6.
2042’s portal (eventually) works perfectly now. You can join friends easily, you can host what you want, matches start regardless of how many people are in there, you can add bots, we have a wealth of settings to play with, we can pick up game mode templates and simply build on them, the UI and functionality is easy to navigate.
But now we find ourselves back at square one, where most things mentioned above are missing.
Portal really HAS been killed.
A lot of the switches you can find in the custom mode but not in the core modes and I dont get why they did this. Headshot Damage and bodyshot damage should be movable even on a normal experience. Its trash how they put it together for sure! Need 20 freaking ppl to start a match without bots!? Like, WTF Battlefield DEVS!
Sounds like you are asking to make a bot farm or to be able to customize the damage within a Verified game mode....If this is allowed, then once you change those params it should no longer be considered a Verified match and should not be given any XP or progression for those who play it.
Im hoping they see this 20 players stuff is not a good idea at all and it goes back to 4-8 players to start. Come on Battlefield, get it together already!!
The game started with almost 750k players... now just 170k on a friday evening and with free trail weekend...
I love the Halo Franchise. I have ran Halo Servers for the 10 years. That being said here is How you can setup a server,
Number of players to start a game = 2
Number of players 48
You can have bots or not have bots your choice.
In Halo Infinite you can have bots. This is how it works. when you join a game there is 1 bot on each team. If a player joins a game a bot will be removed from the game. If a player leaves a game at bot will be added to the game. Why?... To help to make sure the teams are even. It ain't rocket science. I wrote a team balance script for Halo Infinite and it worked great!
There is no excuse why BF6 can't have the same setup when it comes to bots. No need for BOT FARMS!!!
