This is disgusting and a slap in the face to veterans.
The "Lead the Way" pack for Rangers, if you read the fine print at the bottom, says "No Portion of the Lead the Way pack will be donated." No one seems to be talking about this. There's something about an official statement that a "private fund" from EA will be donated, but I've seen no information on that aside from a random reddit comment. Details on that would be great, if it's even true.
EA, are you kidding me? Do you understand how horrible this looks? I was planning on buying this pack as a veteran myself, because I get some really cool in-game goodies as well as supporting my brothers and sisters in arms. Now? Yeah right.
You are "showing support" for our country's veterans and milking veterans day, UNLESS it comes out of your wallet. This is so insanely greedy and disgusting. At a MINIMUM, this entire pack should be given FREE to veterans, and AT LEAST 10% OR MORE should go to the LTW Fund. You will still profit massively off of it without looking like total greedy slimeballs.
I'll be donating directly to the foundation instead with the exact same dollars that I would have been paying for this pack. BE BETTER. Our nation's veterans and AD/reserve/NG personnel deserve that.
