Ghostflux. Everyone is different. I'm well over 40yo. For many reasons I've never played any games before. I've got my first console for two years now. My skill seriously doesn't exist. My aim, my targeting are very very low. But ok, I keep trying to play pvp belive me. But it is not even nearly to be fun for me as at most of the games I'm not often able to reach the flag to gain any points for my team. I just lame. And I would never buy this game if not a pve promises that has been taken away well to late for refund. That's why I feel scammed.
And yes I do agree. It would be not fair to gain same xp as you. So I'm happy to get 50% or 30% or even 10% as long as I can play and make some progress. For now any challenge seems impossible to me right now. Unlock new weapon? It's only 200 kills easy, isn't it? Yay with My average of 3 kills per 20 minutes match it will take me only 10 mins right?
I don't care any rankings. I'm happy with remove pve games from any ranks, remove KD, remove anything. I just want to play solo, or with few friends in our closed environment. But from now I can't. That's all. So yes, I've been legally scammed.

It's a good thing you're willing to try something new. I don't think you're all that different though. No matter the age that we start a hobby, we all start out as a complete beginner.
When your hobby involves competitive elements, then it's inevitable that you're going to be up against people that have much more experience than you do. While you're at a disadvantage when it comes to experience, the advantage is that you'll have the ability to enjoy learning so many new things.
It's really all about the mindset. If you dedicate yourself to becoming better at the game, you'll see yourself improving at an exponentially faster rate than if you limit yourself in any way. At first, it's going to be very difficult and it certainly can be frustrating, but at some point you'll start noticing how much you're improving and that's when it becomes way more fun. There's nothing wrong with playing with bots, but at some point those bots won't allow you to challenge yourself any further and that's when you should consider playing against real players.

They will bring back progression for bots, don't worry and from what i've read they will remove all bot farms and implement a kickable or ban offense for let's say you kill 30 or 50 bots a minute. So everyone chill a bit for now, it takes time, they can't just re enable progression before they've dealt with the implementation of fail safes.
You guys playing only on bot servers may not care but us multiplayers don't want anyone running around fully maxed out, and the bot farms where only intended for that purpose. Getting weapons in an unfair way having way more powerful weapons and attachements. You might not have the intend to progress and go play multiplayers, but they sure do. So have a little patience.
