Too Much Camera Shake

Hello,

I would like to talk about the current accessibility options in the game and share some criticism.
After a few hours of playing, I start feeling nauseous and have even gotten a migraine from the constant camera shaking in this game. (I also play other first-person games, for example Abiotic Factor, which has proper accessibility options. I can play it for hours or days without any issues.)

I’m very certain the issue here comes from the constant head bobbing while walking, sprinting, dying, pretty much every single action in this game moves the camera around constantly.

My questions to the BF6 team are: why is the camera shake slider limited to 50%? I can’t even tell any difference.
Why can we only reduce sprint camera shake instead of turning it off completely? Honestly, it’s barely noticeable, and even if it does work, it doesn’t really help.
The end result is that the camera still shakes constantly, which still causes the same problem.
Even when you set the HUD to “fixed,” the minimap still bobs left and right. The player icon arrow seems to be connected to the head movement of the soldier. I found this out because I was trying to find an anchor point to focus on during longer sprints.

Please let us reduce the Camera Shake slider to 0%. Please add an additional option to completely disable sprint camera shake.
It would also be great to have an option to turn off the constant camera movement when bleeding out on the floor.

The less control someone with motion sickness has over camera movement, the worse it gets. Recoil isn’t really the issue, since you know that your action is causing the camera movement (weird brain thing, I guess).

Thanks for reading.

During the beta was 20%, now conquest mode is unplayable for me, why change? There is 0 benefit for that update day 9

  • There's a couple more things you can try:

    1. Raise the FOV a little. BF6 measures it differently than 2042, so if you try to keep your FOV from last game it won't match. I was using 100 in 2042, and in BF6 I think I'm using 110, which is still less than what I was using in 2042.
    2. There's a setting called "Reduce Sprint Camera Bobbing".

Hmmmmm i will try that FOV put same as you have to 110 also that reduce sprint camera bobbing i already have on it helped a bit but stilll IDK whats happend we are nowhere near close how game runeed in Beta aslo my CPU run in beta at 60 to 70% now 80 to 100% i must dit good old trick Thread.ProcessorCount 8
    Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8
    Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount 0
    Thread.JobThreadPriority 0
    GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 16

that reduced my CPU usage to 80% but still is too high.  I wish game was smooth same as BF4 but i guess we never ever gonna have this level of smoothness again.

I currently play with a FOV of 110, and I have the reduced sprint shake option enabled, but it didn’t help.

Yea, beta was fine.  Now it's unplayable.  Got a refund and won't purchase until fixed.

  • Lol CPU being used around 80% means it's utilizing your hardware. What is your graphics card usage at during gameplay? What type of cpu are you running?

Camera shake honestly is not that bad if you adjust the current in game settings. It IS a wargame after all ..
