[UPDATE] Account Banned (Steam, PC)
On Oct.12 I had my EA account banned while I was in the middle of a campaign mission in BF6. After two days of attempting to reach support and submitting cases, a penalty finally showed up under my penalty history:
I finally got the option to appeal it, and did so. As you can see, my appeal is pending.
The reason I'm making this post is because I'm completely lost on how to handle this situation. I have no clue on what could've triggered the game's anti-cheat system.
I'm not a technically savvy person, so I did some research. I found that the two apps I have running on startup and during the game are:
- SignalRgb
- NVIDIA settings
Additionally, my mouse has two thumb buttons, which I mapped to the two gadget options in-game. I only use the Steam launcher (which I think somehow connects to the EA launcher as well because I had to download the EA app).
Could anyone help? Are these two apps or my mouse configuration considered "cheating"?
