[UPDATE] Account Banned (Steam, PC)

On Oct.12 I had my EA account banned while I was in the middle of a campaign mission in BF6. After two days of attempting to reach support and submitting cases, a penalty finally showed up under my penalty history:

I finally got the option to appeal it, and did so. As you can see, my appeal is pending.

The reason I'm making this post is because I'm completely lost on how to handle this situation. I have no clue on what could've triggered the game's anti-cheat system.

I'm not a technically savvy person, so I did some research. I found that the two apps I have running on startup and during the game are:

  • SignalRgb
  • NVIDIA settings

Additionally, my mouse has two thumb buttons, which I mapped to the two gadget options in-game. I only use the Steam launcher (which I think somehow connects to the EA launcher as well because I had to download the EA app).

Could anyone help? Are these two apps or my mouse configuration considered "cheating"?

  • Exactly the same for me!.. Except I use a Scuf Valor Pro Xbox controller to play, maybe this was it?….Following..

    [UPDATE]
I picked up a cheap keyboard the Redragon K552 that is connected, but like I said I use controller to play. Should I get different one?

I do have settings made in Nvidia also for this game, like fps lock, and quality graphics, etc. What i do not use is SignalRGB from your list. I don't think any of this 2 apps can have anything to do with the ban, neither the mouse (i also have 2 side buttons, and a lot of ppl do i believe, othewise the game shouldn't allow you to keybind actions to this at all, but it does)

Do you have macros done to your keyboard , what leyboard are you using ?

I made a post with a question about pheripherals but sadly didn't got any answer yet. Feel free to check it also and if you use a macro or a keyboard i specified leave a reply. Maybe if the post will have more replys someone from EA can give us an answer about this.

I'm using a Yunzii AL71, wired. SignalRgb is for syncing all of my LEDs in my physical PC - I looked that up and it doesn't come listed as a game enhancer.

I'm not really sure what a macro is, but I looked it up - no I've never done one of those either.

    This is so frustrating.
