I think I'd rather deal with a 50ms latency vs a cheater. At least with a 50ms latency, I have a decent chance of winning the encounter.
Fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion. If the promises (and execution) of cloud gaming meet your needs and expectations, then by all means, go for it! I'm sure it would be cheaper over the long haul, since you won't need a killer system to get the most out of the game. As for me, I prefer to build a badass system every few years and squeeze every last drop of performance out that I can. I may one day try cloud gaming, but I'll be shocked if it can meet my expectations for performance in First Person Shooters, my genre of choice. To each, his own, right?✌️
