Okay, hear me out, after all people maxed out VSS to lvl 40 all just stopped using it. And it definatly needs a little buff to make auto mode costs 30 points instead of 40. What about balance? Well, in that case you can only use it without scope ad other attachments which will balance it (iron sight is much worse than in battlefield 3).
OR maybe make less headshot damage in auto mode. Playing AS VAL without 30 mag is a spit in the soul of BF veteran.
There is also almost no attachments for auto mode, which is quite disheartening.
The VSS, like the bizon, was a beloved weapon in the good Battlefield games. For this reason I think is why the versions in BF6 are so bad.
They treat the VSS like having an innate silencer is somehow OP, and to balance it everything else on the weapon should feel like trash. The bullet speed sucks, the damage falloff sucks, the close quarters sucks... the gun just sucks.
I believe they secretly hate the good battlefield games, and want to ruin everyones love for the battlefield franchise with BF6. It's almost like someone who made CoD games and wanted to glorify CoD at the cost of Battlefield was in charge.
The guy made great CoD games, but CoD is CoD and BF is BF. Players who want BF don't want CoD.
Yes! And you what is funny? In the next update they made an opportunity to make exact same silencer to every other PDW and even some carabins! So the advantage of integrated silencer is neglected and now VSS is just a bad PDW and bad DMR.
