Operation Metro is crowded at certain points, that's true. But not all kinds of crowded are the same imo. The metro tunnels do get pretty chaotic. But it's not in this 'city combat' kind of way where there's 64 people sprinting around in a city map to where there's an enemy around every little corner etc...
It can be a chaotic map, but you know where the enemy comes from. It's not about to jump out of an appartment window and 360 noscope you at any given moment.
I know what you're trying to say. Battlefield 6's maps are particularly complicated, where you have to cover a very large number of sightlines and entry points simultaneously. As a player that likes to check angles carefully and gain the advantage by superior positioning, I've found it particularly complicated. So I get the desire for a map that at least feels more predictable.
Operation Metro is Battlefield's Nuketown map. They certainly could rework it and I wouldn't particularly mind. Yet I feel like there are many maps of the previous games that haven't been given as many reworks as Operation Metro has had. Like Grand Bazaar, Propaganda, Amiens, Damavand Peak or Zavod 311 (The 2042 version was nothing like it). There are many other maps as well. There's this huge catalogue of maps and it would probably be much more refreshing if they don't just rework the same handful of maps each time around.
