Hello EA and DICE. We only bought the game to play against bots in Portal mode. My friend and I are over 50 and don't want to play against human players (we've had enough of them). It worked fine at first until that changed. Now you need 8 human players, and the server only starts with 20. Please change this back, or we want our money back. What's the problem? Don't you understand that some players prefer playing against bots?
The only issue here is the "my peniss is bigger than yours" syndrome coming from the PvP players. How dare you show up in PvP with weapon attachments and player cards you earned in PvE match! You must be a real **bleep**!
This is the issue and some developers also feel that way believe it or not...they are all nuts.
But they are also brainless to some extent because all they have to do is to separate the 2 profiles. 1 for Portal only and another for MP only...yet they are either too stupid to understand that or too lazy to be bothered.
Apparently, they'd rather take your money, watch you walk away from the game and read all the nasty comments that is the fallout. As I said, they are nuts.
I fully agree, I bought this only to play against bots.. I don't get why they wouldn't bring it back, it only allows a larger playerbase to enjoy their game, there is absolutely no harm in it.. I wasted €100 euro on this for only to be able to play the first eleven days with this,.. If they would allow to play against bots again i would gladly buy some skins or cosmetics.. but i guess its both our loss EA's aswell as mine.. luckily I still have Battlefield 2042 to fall back on if i want to play an FPS against bots, its not the same as enjoying their new game and I find it very saddening..
I finished the single player campaign and immediately went to the portal website and created a map rotation, exactly like I did with BF2042 and fully expect to be able to do with BF6 (note - expect, not expected), and it won't start any games.
Misrepresentation at its finest.
Please do something sensible EA and let me play the game I bought. I hate to be "that guy" but if you aren't selling the game you say you're selling then why would I ever buy anything from you again? (Clue, I wouldn't).
Please fix it so I can enjoy what looks like an incredible game.
+1, at the very least return the full map selection to casual breakthrough. But full PVE would be way better.

I'm with OP on this one. As an older player I want to have casual fun and that isn't always achievable with actual players. I also happen to be a trophy hunter and MP trophies (especially ones that can't be collected late in the games cycle) I absolutely despise. I get that this is a MP game first and foremost but it could be MP with bots. Allowing a certain level of 'other game mode progression' in certified game modes whilst allowing full trophy hunting etc would be a fair middle ground IMHO.
Not only are they neglecting players who enjoy PVE (like myself and those here) - if you're a trophy/achievement hunter (again like myself)... it's an even bigger kick in the teeth as some require a good amount of luck/skill in a standard PVP lobby, or require a lot of playtime.
Battlefield 2042's portal was great. It allowed progression up to a certain point, allowed you to earn trophies/achievements, and most importantly... play solo PVE.
Because it's what EA promised before release, and they needed that xtra income from PVE/SOLO players to pay devs to find new ways to screw over their customers. It aint cheap to screw customers.
I seriously don't see the issue with just allowing bots with FULL XP in the verified mode templates without any additional changes.
