This is nothing new people been complaining about bf series since bf3 perhaps even when the first bf bc/2 on how its not Battlefield and that's been going on for so long..
People just don't like change and expect a game to be the same through out the years.
I can only imagine if Battlefield 2 had a remake with all its clunkiness and issues it had if it were release today. I'm pretty sure people will complain about how slow it feels and how it doesn't feel like a modern game. Just saying. 😂
And going base on steam of the overall player base is shortsighted. As it doesn't show the whole picture of every player in the game from every platform. Such as Epic store, EA App, PS, Xbox. The player base is a lot higher then what is shown on steam alone.
