What’s with the EA moderation bot?

Going to be honest. I think the picture speaks for itself. There was a guy in the discord spamming a racial slur spelling it out. Someone else asked what’s going on and I posted what I said in the attached image. This has to be a joke. The moderation bot needs some serious fine tuning. Or removed altogether. Anyways hoping some actual physical moderator sees this and lifts my ban. Thanks.

That does seem to be off, just based on the image you attached. We aren't able to modify that on the forums, but you can absolutely appeal this.

If you head here to create a case, searching for Discord appeal in the topic field should let you create a case under the Submit a Discord appeal topic so they can take another look at this one.

It's been said before and it's something that you have to learn when you're playing multiplayer online games with chat moderation:
And that is, do not read chat, turn it off. Do not listen to chat, turn it off.
Do not type anything in chat and do not speak in chat. It makes the game less vulgar and less toxic and it keeps you out of trouble.
I had to learn this years ago and I never forgot it.

It really is a shame, creative trashtalking used to be half the appeal of shooter in 2010. Even if I wasnt participating, many lulz were had. Now its all "go back to COD" braindead copypasta. Everyone's feelings are as tough as the ice on the first evening of frost nowadays, at least thats how its being moderated.

That’s the thing though. I wasn’t even involved in anything. I was just a bystander answering another bystander who was asking what is going on. Because a guy just randomly started spelling out a slur constantly on the discord to bypass it. Like he was sending each letter as its own message. So I just simply said “guy is spamming the slur (as you can see in my screenshot” and got banned for it. It’s absolutely insane to me.
