It took DICE 2 years to fix footsteps and enemy vehicle sounds in BF2042. So don’t expect reliable and consistent footsteps any time soon.
Respect is deserved for the 2042 team because they actually fixed footstep sounds the last time I played 2042 for the “Road to BF6” event! Major kudos to the 2042 team.
If I might add, the Iwo Jima redux map in 2042 is one of the best Battlefield maps ever made!!! Great job team 2042! I Would love to see this map in BF6!!
Back to BF6’s footsteps still not being fixed. I can load up BF2042 this instant, and Footstep sounds and enemy vehicle sounds are reliable and consistent! So it’s definitely not my headphones or anything to do with my console in BF6! And YES, I’ve tried War Tapes and every single other sound setting in BF6.
You can’t blame it on anything but DICE!
