What in the ai?

Apart from letting go of the ‘grounded’ character of the cosmetics we now even get ai slop 😩

Or is there a dev who wants to claim responsibility for this monstrosity? Why does this guy have 5 pistols (4 on the chest, 1 on the hip) on top of his primary gun?

I also saw an assault skin with what seems a holster with a battery powered drill. I could understand if it was an engineer, but an assault soldier?

I ran with 4 Pistols and an SMG for awhile on the airsoft field - the dual wielding style is called Akimbo!

2 KWA G17's and 2 KWA G18's (extended mags-green gas, tight bore barrels, upgraded recoil spring assembly and all the goodies for the gas mechanism in the upper)
Then I had a KWA Magpul FPG with a G18 in it making it an SMG.

It worked out very nice for CQB buildings and laying down some suppressive fire.
As well, it was really really really fun!

  • 762s thanks for proving my point exactly. I know what akimbo is as it was a specific perk in Call of Duty games and apparently airsoft as well.

As such it does not belong in a game that promised to keep their cosmetics grounded.

While common in fiction, holding two handguns at once is generally impractical in real-world combat. It makes aiming, reloading, and accuracy much more difficult than using a single weapon with both hands. So it has no place in a shooter that wants to be grounded.

But it’s all too clear we’re moving away from that and towards CoD style cosmetics with glowing guns and other nonsense, I present to you exhibit B⬇️

And asAcidryzeN also proved the fact that they are lazy and use ai is too obvious.

    Hey,
Akimbo is not new to this century or just fiction although the word may have been adopted by gaming dual wielding has been in combat/martial arts before guns.
Is it practical?  Probably not in all occasions but, it can have its specialized place whether it be with swords, blades or guns.

I could care less if AI is used for art like the "SECUTY" pic ... it is funny but, it really shows the devs are not really caring about the work they are putting into the game and that is the bigger problem, as we can see with all the other issues around the game.

I also think it is fine for devs to try and get more income for making skins or other items but, I also would like for those devs to give the players and option to toggle off these things if they want.  This way if some cartoon character, famous person or whatever comes to the  game those who do not want to see don't have to.

Grounded?  Lets get them to remove jump firing or sliding with deadly accuracy,  sniper glint, adding destructible tank treads, remove unlimited ammo and flares ... and I am sure there is more we could add to the list to be more grounded 😉
