Why am I punished for using my own Spawn Beacon?

Honestly, I think its better that the owner destroys it upon spawning. I get it that it's frustrating if you are sniping at a distance but the spawn beacon is already insane in CQC maps since weapons aren't class specific. Recon's dropping it on point with the shotgun already makes it incredibly tough to hold points if the enemy knows what they are doing. If they didn't have to hesitate and drop it when they spawned again it would be broken.
