Why is customer support so useless

I saw this issue coming. I completed the recon beta challenge for the seeker skin and haven’t received it. I contacted customer support and have been tossed to at least five different agents, who always ask me to take a screenshot of the challenge and what time I completed it. How can I take a screenshot of a challenge that doesn’t show up anymore, let alone figure out what time it was done.
is it even worth my time to try and file a complaint against them at this point? I feel like I got scammed.
