[Hot take]Why New Map 24/7 Playlists Should Last Longer
I believe the 24/7 playlist should remain available until the next phase update rather than being removed after only two weeks. For players in minority regions—especially Asia/SA—the 24/7 playlist is often the only way to consistently find full, bot-free matches for 18+ hours a day.
One of the biggest reasons Operation Augur was so well received was that players could continuously play both new maps in full lobbies without the lobby being disbanded between matches. With future map releases, I strongly recommend keeping the new map 24/7 playlist available until the following update, at least until Server Browser is implemented.
Currently, Conquest and Escalation share one week of the 24/7 playlist, while Breakthrough and Rush share another week. Considering the four-week update cadence, I believe a more ideal rotation would be:
Week 1: Conquest 24/7
Week 2: Escalation 24/7
Week 3: Breakthrough 24/7
Week 4: Rush 24/7
This would allow players to enjoy the new map without bots for the featured playlist, while keeping the playlists of the new map active before the new map or the new LTM mode comes.
For players in minority regions, the existence of a 24/7 playlist is the only reliable way to enjoy bot-free matchmaking during that period. Until Server Browser is introduced, I sincerely ask the team to consider extending the duration of these 24/7 playlists.
And if possible, please consider persistent lobbies. We can give mid-match joiners to wait for finishing the game, and the next game will be able to start without any bots because the lobby is persistent. This will reduce the number of players who take part in the mid-match and then quit because it's not a new lobby. Why? you do not need to find a new lobby full of bots after the match is ended. Mid-match joiners are more likely to stay for the next match with real players instead of leaving the lobby during the current match, since the lobby persists
